Emma Coronel Aispuro, a mulher do narcotraficante El Chapo foi detida na terça-feira no Aeroporto Dulles em Washington DC, nos EUA.

A mulher, uma ex-rainha da beleza de 31 anos, com cidadania americana e mexicana, é acusada de ter tentado contrabandear droga do México para os Estados Unidos.

Aispiro será presente a tribunal esta terça-feira com a acusação de conspirar a distribuição de cocaína, metanfetamina, heroína e canábis para os EUA. Mike Vigil, um ex-agente da DEA – orgão da polícia responsável pelo controlo de narcóticos – que trabalhou disfarçado no México, disse ao jornal britânico Daily Mail que Coronel Aispuro era ‘uma princesa do narcotráfico’ profundamente envolvida no mundo do tráfico.
